Honour one of the most heartfelt pre-wedding traditions with this beautifully handcrafted Decorative Chakki (Grinding Wheel) — an essential ritual prop for the Baan / Haldi ceremony in North Indian weddings.
In the Baan rasam, the chakki holds deep symbolic meaning — representing the bride or groom's transition into married life. This stunning 12-inch chakki is crafted from sturdy MDF and wrapped entirely in rich mustard yellow velvet, making it a warm, auspicious centrepiece for your ceremony setup. The surface is adorned with an intricate hand-applied design featuring red & gold kundan paisley motifs, crystal rhinestone clusters, marquise crystal leafwork, and a central mirror-finish hexagonal inlay surrounded by a bold red ruby-style gemstone floral burst. The outer edge is finished with evenly-spaced white pearl cabochons in gold settings, and the underside features a delicate hanging pearl drop fringe for added bridal elegance.
The wooden handle (lath) is wrapped in mustard & gold ribbon with a decorative kundan top — completing the authentic chakki look. The chakki rotates smoothly but does not grind — purpose-built for ritual use only.
