Q: What is a pooja thali used for?

A: A pooja thali is a decorative plate used to hold and carry items required for Hindu worship rituals — typically including diya (lamp), roli/kumkum, rice, bell, and flowers. It is used for daily aarti, festivals, and ceremonial occasions such as weddings, Griha Pravesh, and Karva Chauth.

Q: What items are typically included in a pooja thali set?

A: A standard set usually includes the thali (plate) itself along with matching boxes for kumkum, rice, a small diya holder, and a kalash (lota), depending on the specific set purchased. Check each product listing for the exact items included.

Q: What materials are The Wedding Station's pooja thalis made from?

A: They are made from stainless steel for durability, wrapped in decorative fabric for a festive, ceremonial finish.

Q: Can the pooja thali be washed?

A: No. Since the thali is covered in decorative fabric rather than left as bare metal, it cannot be washed like a plain steel thali. It's best wiped clean gently and kept away from moisture to preserve the fabric covering.

Q: Are these thalis suitable for daily use or only special occasions?

A: They are best suited to festive and ceremonial occasions — weddings, Karva Chauth, Griha Pravesh — rather than daily aarti use, since the fabric covering isn't designed for frequent washing or heavy daily handling.

Q: Do you offer pooja thalis specifically for wedding ceremonies?

A: Yes, The Wedding Station offers pooja thali designs suited to wedding rituals such as Roka, Haldi, and other ceremony-specific worship needs. Message 9557243888 or 9758751617 on WhatsApp for ceremony-specific recommendations.

Q: What sizes are available, and how do I choose?

A: Sizes vary by design; a larger thali (typically used for family or group rituals) suits daily home aarti, while smaller or more ornate sets are often chosen as gifting or bridal trousseau pieces. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page.

Q: Can a pooja thali be used as a wedding favour or gifting item?

A: Yes, smaller decorative pooja thali sets are commonly chosen as wedding favours, return gifts, or trousseau/bridal gifting pieces due to their auspicious and functional nature.

Q: How is the pooja thali packaged and shipped?

A: Thalis ship pan-India with protective packaging suited to handcrafted decorative items. Moderate care is recommended when unpacking metal or embellished pieces.
